Claude Code 2.1.285 adds a claude --desktop command to launch the desktop app in your current directory or resume a session. Plugin configuration is now easier: use claude plugin configure to view and set options, and VSCode shows a form when installing plugins with unset options. VSCode also gains an on-demand diagnostics tool so Claude can read the Problems panel's errors and warnings at any time, not just after edits.
