Codex 0.138.0 now lets the /app command hand off your CLI session directly to Codex Desktop on macOS and Windows, skipping manual prompts. Windows workspace launches can open directly into Desktop instead of stopping at a confirmation step. The tool now supports model-defined reasoning efforts for more flexible inference control.
