The model matches Sonnet 5's coding performance while using fewer tokens and tool calls, completing tasks noticeably faster. It is designed for everyday development work like building features and fixing bugs. Administrators can control access through model policies in Copilot settings. Rollout is gradual across Visual Studio Code, Visual Studio, JetBrains IDEs, Xcode, and other supported editors.
