Grok Build 1.0 launched in August with improvements to workflows, agents, and core productivity features, making repository management and multi-message workflows smoother.
Workflows and Agents
- Workflows catalog and execution: New /workflows command opens the catalog, /workflow runs shows live executions, and workflows appear in the model prompt so agents can invoke them by name.
- Agent quick-start: Shift+Tab from the dashboard instantly starts new agents in Auto mode, and plugin-provided agents are now visible and toggleable in the agents modal.
- Hook confirmation control: Hooks can now request user confirmation before executing a tool call, giving developers finer control over tool execution.
Interface and Workflow
- Prompt stashing: Ctrl+S stashes your current draft, lets you send another message, and restore it later without losing work.
- Feedback reporting: The /feedback command now opens a dedicated report box instead of a prompt, making issue reporting easier.
- Session auto-naming toggle: The /rename --auto command disables manual titles and returns to automatic session naming.
Repository and Workspace Management
- Repository cloning and mounting: Clone repositories into a content store and mount projected working trees, streamlining setup and workspace management.
- Disk usage tracking: The grok du command displays disk usage across your Grok directory, worktrees, and sessions.
Integrations
- MCP server form input: MCP servers can now request form input and URL consent through the same popup interface used for questions.
