Kimi Code 2.2.0 introduces a new desktop chat command that opens a chat window in the current or specified folder. Tower mode now aborts an in-progress turn when a new message arrives, letting the new request run immediately. Tower mode also adds deterministic orchestration with TowerRebase, LLM-free status, mutual exclusion, and workspace protection. In fullscreen view, sticky user-message summaries appear; clicking a summary jumps to the original message. Skill cards are replaced by highlighted prompts and a Ctrl-S shortcut to insert skill prompts.
