Amp orbs can now receive and react to external events through webhooks from GitHub, Linear, Discord, CI systems, and any service that sends HTTP requests. An orb wakes automatically when a monitored event occurs—such as a CI failure, new issue, or deployment alert—and executes custom logic you define. Amp handles webhook registration, signature verification, deduplication, and event filtering, then starts a fresh orb thread with trusted metadata. The webhook endpoint persists across plugin reloads and orb restarts, so your orb does not need to stay running while waiting for events.
