Amp now lets you store setup scripts outside your repository, running them before or after cloning without committing files. Pre-clone scripts handle Git extensions, certificates, proxies, network access, and credential helpers needed before checkout. Pre-setup scripts let you configure orbs when you're not ready to commit setup code, and Puck can automatically inspect your repository, write the scripts, and save them to project settings for manual review.
