Google Antigravity released versions 1.0.5 through 1.0.14 in June 2026, adding support for new file types, improving agent capabilities, and expanding platform compatibility across Windows, ARM64, and Wayland systems.
Models and Agents
- Model selection at launch: The --model flag and models subcommand let you choose and list available models directly from the CLI.
- Web search for agents: SDK agents can now retrieve real-time information directly from Google Search through a built-in tool.
- Indefinite goals and auto-approval: Support for longer-running task sequences and subagents that auto-approve artifacts without manual intervention.
- Multi-model backends: Centralized model configuration lets the SDK support multiple model providers simultaneously.
Interface and Workflow
- PDF and audio attachments: Drag-and-drop PDFs into messages and render audio files (.mp3, .wav, .ogg, .m4a) directly in the sidebar and artifact viewer.
- LaTeX math rendering: Mathematical formulas now display directly in the terminal with an option to disable via environment variable.
- Slash command enhancements: History replay with Up arrow, optimistic rendering for faster feedback, and a /btw command for side questions to temporary agents.
- Improved code review tools: Artifact gutter line mapping shows accurate line numbers, and diff cycling now works in reverse with shift+n.
Platform and Configuration
- Expanded platform support: Windows and ARM64 device support, plus native Wayland clipboard compatibility on Linux.
- MCP improvements: URL-based server configuration, configurable timeouts, environment variable passing, and simplified safety policy setup.
