Claude Code now uses Claude Opus 5.5 as the default model, offering a 1 million-token context window and new pricing tiers. In VSCode a new Status dialog can be opened with “/status” to view the session’s version, account, model and server details. VSCode also adds a Sandbox dialog, opened from the panel menu or “/sandbox”, for quickly switching to sandbox mode and configuring excluded commands. An Export conversation command (“/export”) lets users copy or save the entire chat as plain text directly from VSCode. In Slack, Claude threads now show a native Working indicator, a Stop button, and the thread title, with the indicator staying until Claude finishes.
