Codex is now integrated into the ChatGPT desktop app on macOS and Windows, with existing users keeping their projects and settings. You can edit Markdown and code inline with annotations and ask Codex to revise selected content. PR Chat lets you review GitHub pull requests in context, send inline feedback, and accept or reject patches without leaving the app. Custom domains can now be connected to published Sites. A new writes app-approval mode allows read-only actions while prompting for writes, and MCP tools can request authentication interactively.
