Server-to-server authentication is now available for GitHub Apps installed on organizations, in public preview. Agents can request completions using a short-lived installation token, so authentication no longer depends on a signed-in user. Organization-wide billing and policy enforcement applies, with usage billed to the organization and respecting its budgets and controls. Organization owners can view app access, see app-attributed usage in AI usage CSV reports, and revoke access by suspending or uninstalling the app.
