Devin released major improvements to session organization, review workflows, and integrations in June, with new features for managing work across Slack, GitHub, and GitLab.
Session Management and Organization
- Session Folders: Organize sessions into named groups in the sidebar with drag-and-drop controls, with each user maintaining their own layout.
- Command Palette Enhancements: Pin, unpin, and archive sessions directly from Cmd+K / Ctrl+K, plus switch organizations and copy your org ID without visiting settings.
- Child Session Tree View: Child sessions now display with tree connectors in the sidebar to show parent-child relationships clearly.
- Start Session in Background: Launch a new session without leaving your current view.
Devin Review and Code Collaboration
- Expanded Review Platform Support: Devin Review now supports GitHub Enterprise Server and GitLab with full integration, inline comments, AI chat, and user identity linking for merge requests.
- PR Comment Language Selection: Choose the language for AI-generated PR comments, supporting English, Japanese, Spanish and more.
- Direct Account Connection: Connect your GitHub or GitLab account directly from blocked controls in Devin Review instead of navigating to settings.
Integrations and Slack Workflow
- MCP Marketplace Expansion: 48+ new engineering connectors including Miro, Mixpanel, Honeycomb, Postman, and Calendly, with 42 previously-beta MCPs now generally available.
- Slack Mode Switching: Start Devin Ultra sessions directly from Slack using !ultra, switch between Ultra and Fast modes mid-session, and route requests to full Agent sessions with !agent.
- Slack Auto-Sync at Organization Level: New sessions can default to syncing with Slack organization-wide, keeping teams automatically informed.
