Goose v1.46.0 adds an interactive menu for single select elicitations and tab completion for the model command. Chat history search now appears in the navigation panel, while hooks with PreToolUse denial let you control tool execution. New slash commands include /goal for agent self-evaluation, /status, and /model to switch providers mid-session. The update expands provider support dramatically with Anthropic, Google, Azure AI Foundry, OllamaCloud, Sakana AI, Fireworks, Together AI, Perplexity, xAI, and many others, plus MLX and Vulkan support for local inference. Sessions now group by project, and deep links enable resuming or creating sessions directly.
