In version 7.6.0, Kilo adds a caffeinate command (/caffeinate) that keeps the computer awake while agents run, with clear notifications. Users can now write, preview, and edit multiline PR comments and code suggestions directly in the Agent Manager panel. The new goal command (/goal) lets sessions pursue a shared goal with pause, resume, and clear controls in terminal and VS Code. Kilo shows native OS and VS Code notifications when a task finishes, needs input, permission, or hits an error, with a test button. Version 7.6.1 adds an inline model picker using “@” to insert provider/model references in prompts and sub-agent instructions.
