Codex 0.157.0 adds support for GPT-6 Sol and Luna models, including Amazon Bedrock integration with migration prompts for older models. Fullscreen transcripts are now enabled by default, and Shift-click extends text selections. Automatic background-server startup is enabled for eligible interactive sessions with recovery options for incompatible settings. A new f shortcut forks conversations to another app while preserving drafts and queued prompts. The /import command now works in remote and local background-server sessions, and terminal rendering improves with Unicode bullets, checkboxes, aligned equations, and optimization notation.
